“Fr. Akabueze Leads Spiritans’ Mission for Justice, Peace, and Intergrity of Creation
Rev. Fr. Emeka Akabueze, CSSp, the Director of Justice, Peace,
Justice Development and Peace Centre (JDPC) Catholic Archdiocese of Benin City, is a Faith-Based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that falls under the legal instrument establishing the Catholic Mission. It is governed by the Conference of Catholic Archbishops of Nigeria (CBCN) and operates under the National Coordination of the Department of Church and Society.
The Centre was established in the Archdiocese in 1991 and commenced active operation in 2001 and is guided by the common values of the Catholic Faith. It was registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) 2010 Abuja with registration number (CAC/IT/NO 40003).
To evolve and execute development programs through implementing people-oriented policies with available resources to achieve desired result of inclusive society.
To champion the cause of humanity through advocacy, justice and social development to create an inclusive society

Promotion of Justice, Development and Peace in the communities of our intervention, Capacity building and empowerment for indigents in the society. Uplifting Social Justice, democratic value, human rights culture and human dignity in the society, Promoting Christ Love and Togetherness in the communities, to Promote Catholic social teachings so as to contribute to the process of social transformation and reformation, Networking and collaborating with other local, national and international development agencies, to effectively address common social concerns.
